In 2025, Lilong Electromechanical teamed up with Shoebill Technology to carry out an intelligent factory renovation plan, completing the planning and construction of a new factory with lean workshop layout, advanced factory visualization, and on-site 5S operation.

Lilong Electromechanical is located in Ningbo, Zhejiang. For over 40 years, it has been dedicated to the research and manufacturing of elevator and escalator components. Its products are mainly divided into five systems: ODM for household elevators, elevator door systems, escalator steps, human-machine interface, and safety components. Our company's products have been exported to multiple European and American countries, with over 190 valid patents. Lilong Electromechanical has been awarded honors such as National High tech Enterprise, Zhejiang Provincial Research and Development Center, Zhejiang Provincial Patent Demonstration Enterprise, Zhejiang Provincial Postdoctoral Workstation, "Pin Zi Biao" Zhejiang Manufacturing Enterprise, and Ningbo Municipal Enterprise Research Institute.

After conducting on-site research on the factory of Lilong Electromechanical, Shoebill Technology has always adhered to the engineer's thinking, from discovering problems to formulating solutions, and then to implementing the solutions. With a focus on solving practical problems, they have made three major plans for the factory:

1. Lean layout of workshop: Conduct a comprehensive layout plan for the factory building, redefine the placement of workshop equipment, production logistics routes, and positioning of high-level auxiliary rooms.

2. Advanced visualization of the factory: Plan the route from the perspective of customer visits and create the most international factory visit content. From the perspective of employee usage, the production area is clearly divided, and the efficiency of tool retrieval is improved through the positioning and placement of items, making the entire factory highly transparent in management.

3. On site 5S operation and development: Identify the problems in the factory from five dimensions: organization, rectification, cleaning, sweeping, and literacy, and develop a set of factory standardization plans tailored to Li Long.

Nowadays, Lelong Electromechanical has a lean layout in production and operation, with orderly logistics and personnel flow in the factory, clear identification of equipment in the goods area, and corporate culture permeating every corner of the factory. These elements have built Lelong's international standards, combined with its integration of cutting-edge technology in the industry, becoming a leader in the elevator manufacturing field.
