On June 3rd, Wuzhong Instrument Co., Ltd. joined hands with Shoebill Technology to launch a comprehensive upgrade and high-level visualization project for Wuzhong Instrument's high-quality intelligent benchmark factory.
Wuzhong Instrument Co., Ltd. was founded in 1959 and is a leading enterprise in China's control valve industry. In its more than 60 years of development, it has always adhered to the development concept of "professionalism, focus, innovation, and transcendence". It has been awarded the title of "Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and has been honored with the "National May Day Labor Award".
Wuzhong Instrument has a strong product foundation and has developed more than 60 new control valve products in recent years, of which 24 have been rated as national key new products. It has won 23 national and provincial-level scientific and technological progress awards and obtained more than 400 invention and utility model patents. Mainly serving the field of automatic control in process industries such as petroleum, natural gas, chemical, metallurgical, and water systems. It plays an important role in the manufacturing of major equipment such as the West East Gas Pipeline and the China Russia East Line, achieving import substitution of various types of control valve products.
At this kickoff meeting, Wu Zhongyi, General Manager Yang Zhanfu, and relevant personnel had in-depth exchanges with Zhang Kai, Chief Engineer of Whale Head Stork Global Intelligent Factory Planning, and project team members, and had detailed communication on strategic goals and implementation paths.
This cooperation will be based on the solid product strength, manufacturing capability, and intelligent manufacturing technology of Wuzhong Instrument, and will undergo a comprehensive upgrade and transformation. We are committed to building a high-quality intelligent benchmark factory for Wuzhong Instrument without blind spots in all dimensions. Whale Head Stork will work from detailed lean layout optimization of the workshop, improvement of the intelligent manufacturing system (five dimensions and eight modernizations), intelligent warehousing and precision warehouse design, full dimensional digital display, on-site standardization improvement, and high-level visual design landing to jointly create an intelligent factory representing the industry benchmark manufacturing level, and establish regional and industry benchmarks.
