In September 2024, Shoebill Technology partnered with Beijing Haili Tianmeng, a leading UAV systems service provider, to carry out smart factory planning for its new Tianjin facility across six key dimensions, including lean management and automation. After one year of construction and implementation support, Shoebill collaborated with multiple parties to build a high-quality benchmark factory.

Tianjin Haili Tianmeng has been deeply engaged in the UAV industry for more than a decade, holding over 40 national patents and serving as a specialized domestic provider of UAV design, manufacturing, and integrated solutions. In response to its three major challenges—an unreasonable traditional layout, inefficient cross-floor logistics, and low-utilization warehouse space—Shoebill’s team developed customized strategies through multiple rounds of design iteration:
1. Planned production lines based on process flow to achieve a lean layout and reduce production interruptions.

2. Introduced high-bay racking and pick-to-light systems to improve warehouse space utilization and picking efficiency.

3. Adopted customized kitting carts to enhance delivery accuracy and timeliness, while also supporting future options for AGVs to replace manual material transfer.

Today, upon entering the new factory, one can see orderly operations inside the customized facility. With optimized workshop layout and automation, the new factory has significantly improved logistics efficiency. At the same time, we built a high-quality manufacturing environment with strong visitor appeal. The workshop’s display area fully demonstrates Tianjin Haili Tianmeng’s corporate strength and its commitment to building an intelligent factory.
